Alchemist: Your Team
Add your agents to a team, and the Alchemist hands them work, shows you what they did, and asks before anything is changed.

The Alchemist can work with your other agents. Put them on your team, and the Alchemist hands each one the part of the job that belongs in its world: its data, its integrations, its project.
Build your team
Above the Alchemist’s message box is the Your team bar. Click + and switch on the agents you want. You can also ask: “Add Support Bot and Cody to my team.” A team holds up to 12 agents. You can add any agent you can edit, in any of your organizations.
Hand off work
Ask in plain words: “Ask Support Bot how many refunds we gave last week.” Or click the agent in the team bar and choose Delegate a task. The Alchemist writes a full brief and sends it. A card shows the agent, what it was sent, each step it takes, the time and the cost.
The agent runs as you, with its own tools and rules. It sees only the brief, never your other conversations or memories, and it never writes to your memory.
You approve the changes
When an agent wants to do something that needs approval (file a ticket, run an action you marked “requires approval”), it does not do it. The request appears on the card with Approve and Reject. When you decide, the agent picks up where it stopped.
Long jobs
If a job takes more than a minute, the Alchemist tells you it is still working and moves on. When the job finishes, the Alchemist reports back by itself, and your phone gets a notification if you use the Chipp Builder app. Click Cancel on a card to stop a job; anything it was waiting on is rejected.
What it costs
An agent’s work bills to that agent’s organization, like a chat with it. The usage page shows it as Alchemist Team Delegation, with the name of the person who asked, so an admin can see who used what.
Limits
- Up to 3 jobs at once.
- Up to 30 new jobs an hour.
- A job stops after 20 minutes, 30 steps, or $3.00 of usage.
- Files from one organization are never sent to an agent in another.
