Alchemist: Where Are My Projects?
How Alchemist project visibility works across accounts, organizations, and whitelabel dashboard domains, and how to troubleshoot a project you can't see.
Alchemist projects are scoped by two things, and only two things:
- The account you are signed in with (the email address).
- That account’s active organization (the organization shown in the org switcher).
Projects are not scoped by domain. There is no separate copy of your projects per domain, and nothing needs to “sync” or “mirror” between domains.
Whitelabel and custom dashboard domains
If your organization runs a whitelabel dashboard on a custom domain (for example app.yourbrand.com), that domain serves the exact same dashboard as build.chipp.ai. When you sign in on your branded domain with the same account and the same organization active, you will see exactly the same projects.
If the project lists look different between the two domains, it is always one of these:
- Different account. Many agency owners have more than one login (a personal Gmail, a company email, a demo account on their own branded domain). Each is a separate account with its own organizations. Projects created while signed in as
you@company.comwill never appear while signed in asyou@yourbrand.com. - Different active organization. Your account can belong to several organizations. The dashboard only shows the active organization’s projects. Use the organization switcher to change which one is active.
- The project is archived. Archived projects are hidden from the default list.
Troubleshooting checklist
- Check which email you are signed in with on each domain. If they differ, that is the answer: sign in with the account that created the projects.
- Check the organization switcher on both domains and make sure the same organization is active.
- Check the archived filter if a project you expect is missing.
- Still stuck? Ask support. Support agents can look up the account tied to your verified identity and tell you which organization your projects live in. You never need to share project IDs, tenant IDs, or account identifiers in a public channel for this.
For agencies onboarding clients
Client organizations created on your branded domain are separate organizations. They do not see your agency organization’s Alchemist projects, and you will not see theirs unless you are a member of their organization. This is the intended isolation model: each client’s work is private to their organization.
