During the live session, we dove deep into integrating Chipp, our AI platform, with Glide, a powerful no-code app builder. This hands-on workshop showcased how these two tools can work together seamlessly to create dynamic, AI-powered applications.

What We Covered

  1. Introduction to Glide: We learned that Glide is primarily designed for internal use cases, such as dashboards, utility apps, and customer portals. While it can be used to build websites, its strength lies in creating powerful internal tools.
  2. Data Management in Glide: We explored how Glide uses tables (similar to spreadsheets) to manage data, which forms the foundation of any Glide app.
  3. Building Interfaces: We demonstrated how to create user interfaces in Glide by adding components like tables, forms, and web embeds.
  4. Embedding Chipp Chats: We showed how to easily embed Chipp chat interfaces into Glide apps using the web embed component.
  5. User Permissions and Roles: We covered how to set up user roles and permissions in Glide, allowing for controlled access to different parts of the app.
  6. Styling and Customization: We explored Glide's styling options, including pre-set themes and custom CSS capabilities.
