AI Is Now Writing 4% of All Code on GitHub
Claude Code is now writing 4% of all code shared publicly on GitHub, the place where developers share their work. It's expected to hit 20% by the end of 2026. While everyone was debating if AI could actually code, it quietly started writing a huge chunk of the world's software.

People Are Using AI Agents for Everyday Tasks
OpenClaw (AKA Clawdbot) is moving past the hype. Real people are using it to negotiate car deals (one person saved $4,200), make phone calls to restaurants, and even order breakfast timed to arrive right when they wake up. These aren't fancy demos - they're actual tasks people are handing off to AI right now. The future is here, and it's surprisingly practical.

🌶️ I'm obsessed. Openclaw moves AI from taking action from humans to taking actions based on schedules and requests. I now get morning updates, Openclaw emails people who haven't paid bills, and it helps me code. We'll dive deep in our upcoming cohort.
OpenAI Launches AI Employees for Big Companies
OpenAI just launched Frontier, a way for companies to create AI employees that can access their customer data, run reports, and complete tasks. The results are wild: work that used to take 6 weeks now takes 1 day. The ironic part? Intuit (the company behind TurboTax) is using it - even though these AI employees might eventually replace the software that made Intuit successful.
🌶️ If it sounds familiar, that's right - it's basically Chipp for enterprise. We are aiming to bring this power to every business. We believe every business needs a website. Now, every business also needs an agent.
Y Combinator Bets Big on AI-Native Agencies
Y Combinator just released their latest Request for Startups, and AI-Native Agencies are front and center. The old model of "more clients = more people" is breaking. The new play? Use AI to deliver finished products at 100x the speed, not billable hours. Clients want the finished website or document, not access to a tool.
🌶️ We have long been touting software margins for service industries. Look for that to be realized as agencies and local service providers can deliver the same support at a dramatically more efficient rate.
