What will usage cost?

For Businesses

Where does my data live?

Encrypted, stored on Google Cloud servers in Iowa. Full subprocessor list at trust.chipp.ai/subprocessors. Chat messages go to the model provider you select (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others) under that provider’s own API terms; check the Trust Center for which provider applies to your chosen model and its training and retention terms. Optional extras: encrypted chat, zero data retention.

Who owns my data?

You do, all of it, exportable any time: code to GitHub, conversation logs to CSV, everything else on request.

Can I keep using Claude?

Keep the brains, change the building. Claude’s models run inside Chipp. Your projects, skills, and memory move into a private, branded container; the same intelligence powers them from a building you own. One boundary: work in Claude’s own interface sits outside the protected container, so build and converse with client data inside Chipp.

What moves over from Claude, and how?

Everything: memory first, then skills, then documents and prompts. The Alchemist does the porting; you review rather than rebuild.

How does usage billing work? Will I get a surprise bill?

Usage bills like electricity. Builder, Studio, and Studio Pro include monthly usage in their price ($10, $30, and $100). Build For You does not include usage: it bills at standard rates, or directly by the provider on your own keys. Past any included amount, you pay for what the system does, with alerts, hard caps, and per-person limits, so surprises aren’t possible. A person using the system twice a week runs roughly $10 to $20 a month. Chipp runs routine work on lighter models automatically and caches repeats; a complete app build has cost under $2 in usage, and optimization has cut one operator’s spend by about 80%.

What if an AI provider goes down or changes its rules?

Chipp is model-agnostic. Outage, price change, or data-terms change at any provider: your system switches engines without rebuilding, and Chipp’s privacy settings hold regardless of which model runs underneath.

My software is old or has no integrations. Can it connect?

Almost certainly. Beyond standard integrations, the Alchemist can operate a browser and log in the way a human does, so software with no API can still feed your system.

Is it just a chatbot?

No. Full applications: intake forms, checklists, portals with logins and tracked progress. The full-stack builder means anything a site-builder makes, with Chipp hosting the back end.

What does it cost?
