There are three types of knowledge your Chipp can use:

**Knowledge Sources** are retrieved dynamically. When a user asks a question, Chipp searches your uploaded documents and pulls relevant chunks into context. This is called RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

**Prompts** are always present. Your system prompt is included in every single conversation, regardless of what the user asks.
